Dear SURVIVAL friends !
This is our FIRST Blog about Survival.
FIRST PILLAR of Self-Reliance
Blog 1 --- February 3, 2015
Dear Survival Candidate !
Now that you had a first look at our new website
the time has come to explain our vision to you.
We want you to understand that it is important
for you to have a sound financial base in life.
So: FINANCES first:
our FIRST PILLAR of Self-Reliance.
Once this is accomplished, you can then choose
any direction in life that pleases you the most.
A few small life-changes will not harm you:
First, please consider this:
ALL educational systems on earth trained you
to become the “best”, the “first” or the “richest”.
This is what we call the “employee-mentality”,
which is induced through regular brain-bashing.
We, on the contrary, want to train you to use your
brain freely - independently. For this you will need
a “change of mentality” to be able to apply your
OWN creativity and become an “Entrepreneur”.
This is exactly what we would like you to understand:
this “subdued and unproductive employee mentality”
CAN be changed by you into an “Entrepreneur/
Business Mentality” right from TODAY:
HERE and NOW!
In our website, on the yellow bar (next to Home)
you can find a few “entrepreneurial links”.
Please visit them and try out what fits you best.
They all are tested by us and found trustworthy.
Today you can start building small, but regular
CHANGES into your daily life. And each of them
is a small MONEY SAVING TIP that will add up
to big bucks if you practice them consistently.
Here they come:
1. Rediscover your local library
Books are expensive. Make a weekly library trip
with the kids a family affair. If you're tempted to
buy a book, jot down the title and check your library.
2. Participate in swaps
Consider doing toy, book, and clothing swaps of
good quality items in the neighborhood. Involve
the kids. This also works with families with older
children who have outgrown their clothes.
3. Establish routines
Make a grocery list once a week of what you'll
need for the week and stick to it. Exercise. Eat
healthier (= with more knowledge – so … study).
4. Don't be ashamed to buy second hand
Buy clothes and home decorations second hand.
It saves items from the landfill, it allows you to find
unique and original items that you might not discover
in local stores, and it means you aren't supporting
companies that practice unethical business principles.
Thrift stores are your friend!
5. Make small changes
Walk when possible. Turn off the lights. Turn down
the heat in winter. Don't let the kids stand staring
into the refrigerator for ten minutes. Water the garden
with rainwater. Only do laundry once or twice a week.
All of these small money saving tips can add up to big
bucks if you practice them regularly.
As you can see, saving money doesn't have to mean
selling your home or treasured possessions. It means
small, sustainable changes in your lifestyle. Follow
these money saving tips and watch your savings grow!
